Scuba Diving for Beginners

Hi,

Have you ever been interested in SCUBA Diving? Well, let me show you the way to becoming your own, fully certified SCUBA diver!

Let us first start with what SCUBA means:

Self
Contained
Underwater
Breathing
Apparatus

Without the smart lingo, it simply means that you can breath underwater by yourself, without help of machine or other people. Now, in order to become a certified SCUBA diver, you have to first figure out what your local SCUBA shops are in regards to their programs; are they PADI or NAUI certified? These 2 companies run the SCUBA world. PADI is normally a cruise ship kind of certification (quick, fun, easy to pass), while NAUI spends more one-on-one time with their students, and is focused on providing only the best for their students. Once you figure that out, sign up for a class. If you're all ready to go, you will need basic gear before starting:

snorkel
mask
fins
optional: gloves, hood, and booties

Once you have the basic gear, you're officially ready to take the SCUBA diver certification class! Tomorrow, we will discuss the gear needed for SCUBA diving.

Thank you, and happy diving!

Sam
